The
Administrative Internship Program is
designed to provide interns with
practical hands-on experience in
marketing, event coordination and
management. We are looking for
enthusiastic and energetic interns
who can work a flexible schedule
(approximately 10-15 hours a week),
who have some office and
administrative experience and a
desire to develop skills and
competence for marketing careers.
Essential Functions: Intern will
head up tasks related to volunteers,
such as coordination, scheduling and placing
volunteers to work events in various
capacities. Interns may assist
the firm in meeting marketing goals
through
planning and implementing community
outreach; developing special
projects and events (conferences);
and providing participant
follow-up. Responsibilities vary
depending upon skills and interests.
Eligibility/Skills Required:
Marketing, advertising, or
communications majors preferred.
Those entering junior or senior year
of college preferred. Attention to
detail is critical, as is the
ability to manage multiple tasks and
follow through on assignments with
little supervision. Strong verbal
and written communication skills are
essential.
Must be proficient in Microsoft
Excel, Word and PowerPoint and be
proficient in Internet use.
Analytical/project management skills
are a plus.
