Heritage Festival

Situation:
The African American
Heritage Festival is a
family-oriented cultural
festival held on the
historic campus of Huston-Tillotson
University (HTU). This
event is designed to
celebrate the rich heritage
of the African American
community and celebrate the
African American family in
Austin, spotlighting the
rich heritage and culture of
African Americans.
Challenge:

less than 4 weeks.

Impact:
•Attendees
left the festival with a
renewed sense of pride and a
strengthened bond with the
community. In
addition, the
client engaged A Halo Effect to plan and
execute the festival for a
second year.
